I am highly disappointed in my experience at this Lowe’s. My friend and I (both veterans) came from Home Depot and were actually impressed by how nice the store looked and the helpfulness of the associates. We even overlooked seeing a huge rat in the garden section, because, well, it’s California. The issue started at checkout. We thought we found a deal the same rocks we saw at Home Depot for $9.98 were marked $4.78 at Lowe’s. Yes, the bags were already chewed, had urine and droppings on them, but we were determined to purchase them anyway. When we got to the register, the rocks rang up as $10.98. Now, we aren’t entitled people, but we know that when a store mismarks an item, good customer service means honoring the price to keep trust and encourage customers to return. Instead, the treatment we received from management was appalling. An associate asked a manager with long hair and bangs to assist. She refused to even acknowledge us, said “no” without explanation, and walked away. My friend then tried to speak with another manager named Joe (apparently the store manager). From the very beginning, Joe rolled his eyes, waved off the situation to another associate, and spoke to my friend in a condescending tone: “You see that red dot? We all know what that means — you don’t, but we do. That’s a stock price.” Then he walked away and told the associate to clean up the mess of the chewed-up, open bags rather than helping us. The worst part? Joe didn’t even realize I was with my friend. He treated me kindly while treating her with complete disrespect. The difference in behavior was noticeable and extremely upsetting. (I’ll play a game of Guess what race we are?? Hint: We are different types of tans) As someone with a professional background in retail, sales, and marketing, I can confidently say this was one of the worst displays of customer service I have ever seen. Associates were trying to help, but the managers set the tone , and the tone here was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. We left feeling disgusted by the way this was handled, especially considering we came in ready to purchase and had been speaking positively about Lowe’s before checkout. I hope Lowe’s leadership takes this review seriously, because experiences like this are exactly why customers choose competitors. I would appreciate a response and accountability from upper management. And if Joe, the store manager, ever reads this: leadership is about serving others, not belittling them. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 15:1 “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” A little kindness and humility would have gone much further than eye rolls and dismissiveness.

Recently bought appliances. Best customer service at the store. They were helpful. And the delivery people were amazing! Our elevator was broken and they had to carry up three flights of stairs. These two guys got the appliances up, the door taken off the very small laundry space and installed our appliances. Then they cleaned, very clean all the materials and the appliances and everything. The heavy appliances were turned on. We are happy with our purchase and delivery after waiting to buy these. Very happy. Best ever!

They have building activities for kids that they have each month i believe. They are fun but a bit challenging at times for both kids and parents ( mainly for the parents because we have to build them lol). We love coming to these events and I really recommend people to go and give it a shot...... oh and FYI you might want to take some needle nose pliers, your fingers will thank you.

I've been a customer of Lowe's for many many many years and they are absolutely the best in everything they have to offer. Plus friendly greeting and help when needed. I would highly recommend checking Lowe's out on Bellflower in Long Beach

We’ve always preferred coming to Lowe’s because they have WHAT we need and they process returns. There’s sales clerks that walk over with you to help you find the items. It’s like Buddy the Elf, if they DONT have it they recommend another place. We sometimes overshop because we’re planning ahead.
