I had a great experience at Lowe’s thanks to an employee in the paint department. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and took the time to guide me step by step to make sure I got what I needed. The store was also well stocked, which made everything easier. He was patient and respectful while helping other customers too, and clearly cares about doing a great job. Overall, a really positive experience.

I had a great experience at Lowe’s thanks to Juan Rivera in the paint department. He went completely out of his way to help me and made the whole process so much easier. He has so much knowledge and took the time to explain everything step by step. He asked questions to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed and that everything would come out right. Before helping me, he was assisting another customer in Spanish and he was amazing with them too. He explained everything clearly, was very patient, and treated them with so much respect. He never made anyone feel less than and genuinely went out of his way to help. I’m an English speaker myself, and it was really nice seeing someone treat every customer equally and fairly no matter what language they speak. You can tell Juan truly cares about helping people. Everything turned out great because of his guidance. Lowe’s is lucky to have an employee like him. If you go there, look for Juan Rivera in the paint department. He’ll make your experience great!

Horrible Experience — Complete Waste of Time Dealing with Lowe’s has been an extremely frustrating and time-consuming experience from start to finish. I initially ordered an assembled grill. After waiting approximately 10 days, it arrived unassembled in a box. Attempts to resolve this by phone were futile due to Lowe’s endless automated voicemail system and lack of live support. I went into the store and spoke directly with the manager. The grill was picked up, resulting in another full week lost. Lowe’s then re-delivered a poorly assembled grill, which was damaged by the delivery company due to improper handling. Once again, I waited another week. I returned to the store and spent over an hour addressing an issue that was entirely Lowe’s responsibility. The damaged grill was picked up again. I was told the next delivery would be handled correctly. After waiting yet another week with no call, I contacted the store and was informed the grill was sitting there unassembled, despite assurances otherwise. I was explicitly guaranteed by a representative that the grill would be delivered the following day. No one showed up. I called again, scheduled another delivery for Saturday, and was told it was confirmed. After waiting at home, I called only to be told the delivery was not even in the system. I was then told it would arrive in the morning. It finally arrived late in the afternoon. This experience reflects poor communication, lack of accountability, incompetent delivery handling, and repeated misinformation. Lowe’s wasted weeks of my time on an order that should have been straightforward. Completely unacceptable.

I politely asked someone up front if there was anyone available that could help me locate 2 items, stating that I’d already asked and had not been able to locate what I was looking for. I told and showed her the two items. Instead of finding someone, she asks a coworker what aisle only one of the items is. Of course the answer is not what I was originally told. She just looks at me to go back again and search, ignoring the second item and that I clearly asked for assistance. I would’ve happily waited if she just said “ let me locate someone, we’re a little busy ”, instead of completely ignoring what I just said. Instead of over explaining to someone who intent on the minimum, I just went somewhere else.
