Needed 3 cordless bamboo shades for our backyard patio. Went to our local Lowe's and they only had one... A gentlemen that worked there could tell I was a bit bummed and asked if I needed help. I told him I needed 3 but they only had one at this location. He helped me get on the Lowe's website, located where I could get more and helped me reserve them for pick up. Overall excellent customer service!!!

This Lowe’s location next to IKEA is honestly pretty nice overall. The store is very clean, organized, and the staff has always been helpful when I’ve needed assistance. It definitely feels a little more polished compared to some other hardware stores around San Diego. My only downside personally is the tool selection. Lowe’s carries a lot of their own house brands, and I’m more of a Milwaukee and DeWalt guy, so they don’t always have the brands or variety I’m looking for when it comes to tools and contractor equipment. But if that doesn’t matter to you, it’s still a solid store with a good overall shopping experience.

Lowe's Blows! I called ahead to confirm that my curbside order would be ready for pickup on the same day. The employee told me, "Yep, it's all picked and ready to go." Great. I told them I'd be there in 20 mins. When I arrived and called for pickup, I was told, "Oh, your order isn't picked yet. Let me get started on that - give me 10 mins" At that point, I was already annoyed that my time had been wasted. After waiting around for 30 minutes, I finally went inside to see what was going on. That's when another employee told me, "Oh, he only started picking it about 5 min ago." So not only was I given completely inaccurate information over the phone, but nobody seemed to have any idea what was actually happening with my order. I ended up canceling it altogether. This store is a joke. I'll gladly spend my money at local hardware stores, ACE, or even Home Depot before dealing with this level of incompetence again. I don't know if all Lowe's locations operate like this, but this one is terrible.

“Incompetent and incredibly rude customer service. I attempted to return an item from an Instacart order, specifically requesting store credit as per the standard policy. The associate clearly did not understand the process and mistakenly refunded the amount back to the Instacart business debit account instead of issuing me a credit. When I pointed out the error, she became aggressive and yelled, 'Okay,I made a mistake. Contact Instacart!' rather than apologizing. When I explained that resolving issues with Instacart isn't easy, she condescendingly told me, 'Then don’t use Instacart!' Absolutely unprofessional behavior and a total lack of basic training." UPDATE : as expected, Instacart didn’t help on that. It’s like working with a bot. They just repeatedly read the policy - “To receive your refund, you will need to contact the retailer directly.” Your mistake caused my time and money well wasted :(

Excellent location in the Mission Valley area of San Diego. The store is clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. I found everything I needed quickly, and the staff was helpful. Plenty of parking available. There is an IKEA to the right and a Costco to the left, which makes it even more convenient.
