Rebecca Blaske a month agoHave come here a good amount of times over the past few years and always have a good experience. Don't sleep on the clearance plant section because you can get a pretty significant discount for plants that often just need a slight moment of attention before they are just as good as the full priced plants.
J Houston 5 months agoBest customer service ever! These 2 deserve raises! They were patient with me (I have a disability) and made me feel valued in spite of. Vonna, the hardware associate, made sure I had everything I needed before I left and I really appreciate it because I was struggling. Keep up the great work
Alex Collier 4 months agoBelow is document a series of failures and delays with my kitchen remodel project managed through the Lowe’s Sandy Springs, GA location. This project began in May 2025 and, nearly nine months later, remains incomplete. This experience has been marked by design errors, communication breakdowns, scheduling failures, and poor follow-through at multiple levels. The cumulative impact has been months without a functional kitchen, repeated installation delays, and a clear lack of accountability across departments. May 2025 – Following a dishwasher supply line failure, I decided to complete a full kitchen remodel. I visited multiple retailers and selected Lowe’s Sandy Springs for cabinetry design, installation, and appliance purchases (range, hood, refrigerator, dishwasher). Designer: Steve (in-store). He was professional and knowledgeable during our initial meetings (~5/24/25 - during the Memorial Day Sale). Early June 2025 – When I arrived for a design appointment, I learned that Steve had been terminated. The store manager, informed me I would need to transition to the virtual design team. This change caused a multi-week delay. June 25, 2025 – After nearly a month of back-and-forth with the virtual design team, the contract was finalized. August 4, 2025 – Delivery of Cabinets and Appliances Cabinets and appliances were delivered and stored under my carport. No one informed me that the cabinets needed to acclimate indoors before installation. August 6–22, 2025 – Installation Attempt and CAD Design Error Installer Ryan (third-party team) contacted me to schedule installation beginning 8/18/25, with an estimated 3-day duration. Upon arrival, Ryan discovered the acclimation issue, delaying the start further. Installer routinely arrived hours outside of scheduled times and often without the additional crew he was promised. Once installation began, a critical design error became apparent: The dishwasher door could not open fully due to interference from adjacent drawer pulls. The adjacent cabinet door and drawer also could not open because of the dishwasher handle. I have been told this is a CAD issue. September 19, 2025 – Partial Replacement Delivery Replacement doors and drawers were ordered, but the replacement drawer was the wrong depth and had to be reordered again. This happened 6 times before the new installer used 2 of the drawers sent to build the correct one. September 24–30, 2025 – Appliance Substitution Attempt To resolve the clearance issue, I contacted the designer about swapping the dishwasher for a handle-free model. After September 30, the designer stopped responding entirely to emails. And the store did not reach out. October 1–15, 2025 – Ryan returned on October 1, confirming that even with the new cabinetry, the dishwasher handle still caused interference. On October 11, I went in person to the store. The appliance manager was dismissive and implied that processing the return was a “favor,” despite this being the direct result of a Lowe’s design error. January 3, 2026 I contacted a number of people regarding ordering 3 additional 8' stick of crown molding, 1/4 round, baseboard. January 14, 2026 One of the slide outs in the cabinets broke, Jason returned to evaluate. The product corner was not glued at all. The 1/4 round around the base of the cabinets came loose in multiple areas. Jason let me know he would need to return to fix both items. I sent a second email requesting the ordering additional crown was sent. Included in that email was a request for a pick up on extra parts. By January 28 there was still no response. A driver did attempt to make the parts pick up, however no one alerted me he was coming and I was not home. Those pieces are still in my kitchen. February 10, 2026 Rick finally provided me with a quote for the requested crown etc. $3700 plus $1000 to install approximately 24' of crown, 1/4 round and base board. I rejected that offer as it is nearly 25% of the cost of the kitchen. I asked him to wrap the job and to provide the compensation quote.
Christy 4 months agoPulled up for a smoker this evening and saw the perfect one outside waiting. Went inside to see about purchasing it and was told a price that was more than it was advertised outside. They honored the price outside and one of the employees (Jordan) went above and beyond to help us load it in our vehicle!
David Tudor 2 months agoI am writing to express my significant disappointment with my recent online ordering and delivery experience, which unfortunately marks the second time Lowe’s has mishandled a delivery for me. On April 5th, I placed an order for 75 bags of garden soil and 30 bags of black mulch. At the time of purchase, the items were clearly in stock, and I was given an expected delivery date of April 7th, which was later moved to April 9th. On April 8th at approximately 2:43 PM, I received a call from the store informing me that the product I had ordered was no longer available and had “probably sold out over the weekend.” This was both confusing and frustrating, as I placed my order early Sunday when inventory was still available. If this was indeed true, I'm baffled as to why someone did not reach out on Monday to make me aware of this issue. It raises concerns about how Lowe’s manages and allocates inventory for confirmed online orders. I guess they do not fulfill these orders until 24 hours prior to scheduled delivery. I was then told my only options were to cancel the order or have it reassigned to another store. I specifically asked whether my April 9th delivery date could still be honored and was assured that it would be. I was also told that the app would update with the new store fulfilling the order. Neither of these assurances proved to be accurate. After seeing the update, but not the store that picked up the order, I had to proactively contact customer service to determine the status of my order. I was then informed that the College Park location had taken over fulfillment and that the new delivery date would be April 14th—five days later than originally promised. The most frustrating aspects of this experience are the lack of proactive communication, the inaccurate information provided by store staff, and the apparent disconnect between inventory systems and order fulfillment. The customer service agent that supported my cancellation of the order could not view the history of the communications and actions. As a customer, I should not have to chase down basic information about an order that was already confirmed. As a company, I would think that Lowe's might want to track fulfillment data so that when issues arise they have data to inform decision-making. At this point, I am left questioning the reliability of Lowe’s online ordering and delivery services. No explanation of how this situation occurred, or what steps Lowe’s might take to prevent similar issues in the future were offered. The fact that a manager did not take the time to discuss this situation with me is another training issue Lowe's may want to address.
