Catherine Nguyen a month agoDo NOT LET CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE FOOL YOU when you're trying to return something. I purchased a mower and was given the run around by the employees and whoever Mr. KIM is as to why they wouldn't accept my return even though it is within the 30 day return policy. Then Mr. Kim had the audacity to lie about a NON-EXISTING 10 day policy, that he states: its not listed or shown anywhere. So, why as a customer would I oblige by a policy that you can't even produce said policy. Then continued to argue with me as to why they wouldn't accept my return. After I called corporate # and got their confirmation that it my return is a valid return as it is within the 30 days. Even after the "RA" confirmed it is within the 30 day policy, employees at the Cust Rep still tried to argue with me that it isn't. Like excuse me what? HE JUST SAID ITS VALID, why are we still arguing that its not. And continued to try and find ways on the store policy board as to why it can't be returned.. like open your eyes, its stated on there OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT: MOWER. It is literally posted on the STORE RETURN POLICY that my outdoor power equipment: MOWER is within the 30 day return policy. This store needs to retrain their employees again or better yet, follow the return policy rules instead of making up their own rules. After arguing with the employees and stating my case FINALLY after 45 minutes later, they had no choice but to give me my refund and accept my return. I purchased a $1600 mower, that already started giving me problems the 2nd time I used it, less than 30 days of having it. Why would I want to fix it and keep it if its already breaking on me. Then the employees want to make up their own policy rules, about what can or cant be returned. They want to reference this store policy on the wall, but want to make up rules that's clearly listed. If you are within your 30day return window, don't let them lie and try to manipulate the store policy and tell you otherwise. ALSO Corporate said there is no such thing as a 10 day policy, so Mr. Kim, who are you, to make up rules. Shame on you. Never again, will I shop here. Y'all on some other power trip.
jane alexander 4 weeks agoI was accused of picking up an order that I never received. I was at work in the middle of the day hen my order was picked up, and could prove I wasn’t there. The staff essentially implied that I was being dishonest and ripping them off; for reference I spend a lot of money here. The manager then threatened to review surveillance footage and I happily agreed that they should. I also had asked them if they ever asked me for my ID at the time of my “pick up” and said no they didn’t need to. Then, suddenly, after a couple of hours I received a call saying my order had been “canceled” and they hadn’t had time to review it. The customer service was terrible, and the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the situation. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, they chose to accuse a paying customer of lying. This was a very frustrating experience, and I will be sharing it with others so they can make an informed decision before shopping at this location. In this area of the city you do not treat your customers this way. As a business owner with multiple locations throughout this city I would never treat my customers this NEVER BUY FROM LOWES!
James Harris a year agoI’ve been to so many Lowe’s Garden Centers across the states that I can’t differentiate one from the other. However, this location is different. The plants are tended to constantly (watering, etc.) and so well organized. I’ve been on two separate occasions and haven’t seen any dead leaves or soil scattered everywhere (the floors are pristine). The employees I interacted with were great! Narissa is knowledgeable about a variety of plants and shared ideas and tips for gardening that I hadn’t thought of. She’s one of the few employees I’ve talked with at Lowe’s Garden Centers who really knows about plants. Yair was also really nice and helpful with checking stock and leading me to items I was looking for (he didn’t just point in the direction and walk away).
Anthony B. 6 months agoTerrible customer service and horrible price-matching policy. I was in the market for a Philips Hue Table LED Lamp in Black and found multiple cheaper options on Best Buy, Walmart, and even Dell, which had the lamp for around $180-190, compared to the stock price of $251. Since Lowe's had the item in stock and on display for pickup, I initially managed to get the product price matched at the Meyerland Lowe's. However, I noticed that the product was scratched upon opening. I went to the Lowe's North Loop location, which was able to offer me the refund, but was unable to exchange it since they didn't have any in stock. They referred me to the Katy Bunker Hill location since they had the product in stock. Upon arriving at this location, the customer service representative was adamant that they did not offer a price match for this specific item to other stores (including Best Buy), despite me having evidence of the same item number on my phone and website. Even with the refunded receipt (with the price-matched price) from the North Loop Lowe's and the original Myerland receipt, they still refused to process the transaction. The associate even made a comment that the price "was too low" and instead offered to sell the item at full price, having me go back to the Meyerland Lowe's to redo the price matching (because apparently this is a store-specific policy). I walked out without buying the item. After conducting some research online, it appears that Lowe's offers price matching with major US retailers, including Best Buy. Unless they changed policies, customer service did a terrible job explaining such a change, as the whole process was a waste of time. Maybe change the website to make it clearer?? I will not come here again and am skeptical about shopping at Lowe's in the future (especially since I used to work at Home Depot back in the day).
Kaleigh Parker 7 months agoMost helpful employees at this location than I have experienced at any other Lowe’s. When calling to check product inventory, the woman on the phone verified it was in stock. We arrived to purchase and someone greeted us, we told him what we were looking for and he immediately went and got a lift to get it down. Will drive out of my way to go to this location.
