Keisha Hight 6 months agoHorrible customer service. Never received delivery. Herkimer store manager advised that Syracuse DC missed the delivery but DC reps refused to accept their mistake and refused to make amends. They tried to blame me for their mistake. I lost $500 of groceries due their error. Never do business with this company or the Lowes Corporation ever. Disgusting!
Vickie Matson a year agoUpdate: I would love to share that Lowes did come through and make it right with my delivery. They have restored my faith in the company!!!! I am absolutely livid about this entire experience with the Lowe’s fulfillment center. I advertently ordered the wrong pedestals to go with a new front load washer and dryer that I ordered from LOWES. I canceled and placed an order for the correct set on the telephone with a Lowe’s customer service agent. Somehow my old address was sent to fulfillment and the delivery was sent to my old home address. I received the call from the delivery driver stating that they were there to deliver the item I communicated to them that they were at the wrong address. someone from the delivery service called me to confirm that they were at the wrong address and told me that unfortunately they were not able to change the address in the system and the delivery drivers discretion as to whether or not they could make the delivery to the correct address. apparently the delivery driver declined to make the delivery to the correct address. I was told at that point the only thing that I could do was cancel the order make a new purchase with the correct delivery address which was the same delivery address that I gave to the agent over the phone. I escalated the call to try to speak with a manager who told me that the new address had been corrected in the system and that I would receive a call back from fulfillment to try to get the delivery made sometime today. this was all a lie I received a call to the end of the day to say that the order needed to be canceled and I was also told that at that point stock was showing -6 so even if I canceled and paid the order I would have to wait until it was back in stock which was ridiculous to me. so I had two pedestals on a truck that could have been delivered if Customerservice was truly a priority for low so I resulted in having the two pedestals delivered to my old home address and now I’ll have to pay someone to complete the installation. I’m sharing this so that other consumers will know the level of customer service that Lowes provided. Next time I will go with Home Depot to avoid all of this frustration with the company that I once respected and trusted.
Arthur Mims 3 years agoAbsolutely worst customer service and judging by the 3.3 stars they do not seem to care. They delivered a freezer to me broken, looked like another freezer was dropped on top of it. They took pictures and Left the freezer there without saying anything. I was told by customer service I had to wait 24 hours for them to get back to me reschedule a new, delivery this was on Saturday I did not hear from them until Monday afternoon I inform them that I would not be available for delivery until after 6:00 so they scheduled a delivery for Wednesday. I got a call from the delivery driver on Wednesday at noon that he was at my house with the replacement freezer I told him I was not there and he would need to come back after 6:00 they refused to do that because they said it would alter their route. I called customer service again and was a again told I would have to wait another 24 hours for them to get back to me to reschedule. At this point I have had all of my meat from the freezer in ice chest for 5 days every time I call customer service I spend a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes on hold and get bounced around through different people before getting any answers. I finally told them I just wanted a refund and they could schedule a time to pick up the freezer whenever They told me I would see the refund on my Lowe's card within a few hours, when I had not seen the refund I called them back and they then told me I would have to wait until after they picked up the busted freezer for them to process it and it could still take 5 to 10 days. I will now be doing my shopping from home Depot I've had much better luck with their customer service in the past. I highly recommend that if you do purchase from Lowe's you purchase it directly from the store and have them deliver rather than go through the fulfillment center they clearly do not care about your time or money. 1 star is honestly not low enough for them.
Jason Parham 4 years agoMy wife and I were just discussing how much we prefer Lowe's over "the other place" while looking at both stores for our most recent purchase. After this delivery fiasco, that might need to change. We were given a call last night informing us that our delivery time would be from 7-11. The absurdity of requiring a 4 hour window for a simple drop-off aside, we made ourselves available to be on site for the delivery. When 11 o'clock rolled around and no delivery had been made, I called the delivery center to inquire about my items. I was told "I don't know who told you that but your time is 1:30-5:30." Knowing that their error would not result in a change, I requested that our delivery (which requires NO INSTALLATION) please be scheduled at the front end of that time frame since I had made myself available early in the day per their indication. The manager (Merick?) said a bunch of words that made absolutely no sense but were presumably designed to make me feel like he was explaining something, then finally informed me that he had no control over the driver's schedule and I was at the mercy of when the driver decided to come by. This entire situation is ridiculous and I will absolutely NEVER be using Lowe's delivery again. Unfortunately, they do not stock anything in the store so delivery is their go-to format for sales. If I'm going to have to wait on delivery, Amazon has yet to be late or provide inaccurate delivery times. Lowe's, you need to step up your game.
M D 6 years agoBad experience overall. They sent the dryer but never the washer. They initially said the washer was on it's way, but after not receiving the next day, like they said. I called again. At that point, they didn't know if they would get any in at all. They asked me to wait until Friday of that week. I called again with still no clear answer on when the washer would be coming in. However, in between these calls, I had called to other representatives and everyone would give me different answers. I understand the current situation with the pandemic is challenging, but we still expect consistency and deliver to promise. I have since asked for a full refund as I found these appliances at another store. However, despite calling several times and notifying the representatives about scheduling the pickup of the dryer, they tell me its scheduled, but no one never comes to pick it up. It's just a shame that Lowes has hired this delivery service to finish the last mile delivery of their supply chain. I will think twice before ordering through them in the future.
