I would give 0 stars if possible. I am a contractor and spend around $100k on materials a year here. Not anymore. I had a job contracted with the city to install a fence at one of their new affordable housing properties so I ordered the materials for delivery. It was a hearty order of PT 2x4s. The 2x4s were absolutely terrible. Out of 280 I was able to use about 30. I had to load the other 250 (around 1600-1800 lbs) back up and took them back to Lowe’s on Capital Blvd. I parked outside to talk to the return desk lady(who is always rude) and she was rude like usual and said “ uh uhaaa you can’t return that here. You need to go down to the Pro Desk. I drove down to the other side and parked under where the loading zone is and went in. The manager on duty was an absolute unprofessional, confrontational, mess of a women. She was super rude and told me I needed to bring all of them inside so she can inspect them. I asked her how she thought I could possibly bring 1600lbs of 2x4s inside to the pro desk and she said “that’s what it is” I asked her to at least call a Loader to help and she said “ They for when you bye something here not return” I demanded help or I was gonna call corporate so she finally got one dude with a cart 🤦🏼‍♂️ It took two trips and she was so rude about it. Finally got it returned and asked if I could have the $100 delivery fee waived since I had to bring back the order. She refused. When I told her I will not be a Lowe’s customer anymore she said “We’ll be fine. We have plenty of customers.” Unreal and I have not spent a dime there since. This was Oct/Nov 2025. I ended up taking my business to the lumber company and Home Depot.

Lowe’s as a whole is an absolute joke. I’ve spent thousands over the past year renovating my home. Last week I had lumber delivered. Over 110 pieces. 67 pieces were damaged or unusable. I asked for replacements. They came. 32 pieces were damaged or unusable. They were supposed to pickup the damaged and unusable pieces. Never came. Spoke to the ASM Alex, he placed an order for a few additional replacements which still haven’t come. All the damaged pieces are laying in my front yard. Management won’t help. Corporate won’t help. No one cares. No one has any integrity or desire to treat humans with basic dignity or respect. I wouldn’t recommend Lowe’s to my worst enemy. This has been a week long nightmare and I’m absolutely at my wits end. Edit: I reached out to customer service and got no where. Of course. All they wanted to do was point me to the store. No responsibility.

Julius was wonderful! He greeted us at the door this early morning with a gracious smile and spirit! Just what is needed during this Christmas season! He even found what we were looking for and brought it to us! Amazing customer service! We greatly appreciate workers like this who not only make a difference in customer service but also make a positive impact!

I want to give a huge thank you to Tyria and Leroy who helped fulfill my order today on Capital Blvd. My phone was not working properly, they made sure to find the order of 15 bags of mulch I ordered on line. They found it and Leroy was so nice tell me where to go and he would load my car up which he did along with two other gentleman. It is so nice to get great customer service like this as a lot of places no longer give it. thank you Lowe’s, Leroy, Tyria and the other 2 gentleman!

I purchased a kitchen ceiling light for a client last Thursday. It was professionally installed, and within five days it began malfunctioning. Unable to visit the store in person, I attempted to resolve the issue by phone​, only to spend an excessive amount of time on hold across multiple calls. Eventually, I asked to speak with a manager, who was equally as dismissive as some of his associates. I was told they would happily exchange the light, which I appreciated. However, when I explained that I would need to pay for labor a second time​, to have the faulty fixture removed and the replacement installed​, I was met with indifference.​ A simple gesture, such as a discount to help offset the additional installation cost, would have gone a long way. Instead, I was told the extra expense was not the store's concern and that they couldn't advise me on how to spend my money. For a store that markets itself to both homeowners and professionals, this level of customer service is unacceptable. I expected more.
