My brand new $498 Kobalt rolling work bench was delivered with dents and chips on it. Lowe’s offered a $25 (yes, $25!) discount as compensation. Needless to say, I declined, and they agreed to an exchange. To begin with, I had to wait an extra week for this workbench because the assemblers didn’t show up on their Wednesday regular assembly date. Why would Lowe’s even let this out of the store in this condition? Equally, what kind of assemblers do they have? Tommy, the lead delivery guy, was helpful, professional, and empathetic. I could tell that he just didn’t know what to say about the situation, though. Anyway, the exchange/replacement workbench is supposed to be delivered on Saturday. I’m so hopeful that it will arrive in new, out-of-the-box condition, with NO damage…

Needed to purchase a 4'x8' sheet of plexiglass and have it cut in half. After waiting 10 minutes and looking for assistance, I asked the cashier at the Pro desk for help. She paged and I returned to asle 18, waited another 8 minutes, still no help. I approached another employee (short female, long black hair, Janice or something very close) talking on her personal phone for help, no use and what an attitude, another employee apparently customer online shopping who in the nastiest tone said they were short staffed and didn't have a way to contact anyone for assistance. NEVER IN LIFE will I shop there again, even with the price of gas, I'll travel for customer service.

I finally received my grill exchange yesterday 05/04/2026 from my 2/2026 Original Order. They gave me an "upgrade grill" valued at $100 more than the original grill I ordered. I ordered a grill that I wanted with cast iron vs the stainless steel that they sent me. I chose a Cast iron grill because it offers the best heat retention for deep sear marks vs the stainless steel. I am sick and tired of calling this Lowes and would like for them to come back pick this grill up and give me a full refund.

Do not place online orders for mulch. I placed an order to receive mulch on Tuesday, and they subsequently failed to complete my delivery Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, all without telling me the mulch wouldn’t arrive. Lowe’s mandates that someone above 18 years old must be present to receive mulch deliveries, yet they cannot update whether they will complete the delivery. I called every day at end of day just to have them claim it would get delivered first thing the next morning. Finally, on Friday at 4pm, they stated it wouldn’t arrive until at earliest the next Monday. I genuinely do not understand how a business model like this is successful, and I don’t know if I’ve ever been more disrespected by a company. Please, PSA do not fall into this trap.
