I'm 69 years old and have great difficulty walking. I asked a worker to help me find something. They took off at a pace that on my best day I can't maintain. I asked him to slow down and that seemed to make him go faster. After losing me in the store he just up and disappeared. I went back to the area that we had first met up at. After 15 minutes I saw the worker and was able to get his attention by flailing my arms and practically yelling. He came over and asked if he could help. I explained he was suppose to be helping me now and reminded him what I was looking for. He said, "oh I couldn't find it" Then when I asked if I could buy the floor model he and the clerk at the register said they needed manager approval. After all of us just staring at each other for awhile, I told them to call a manager then. Instead of calling on radio the clerk sent the first unhelpful worker to find a manager. After 5 minutes they returned with someone that after I explained what I wanted told me that it needed manager approval and the would go find someone to help me. I left my cart with a couple of hundred dollars worth of merch. right there and left. I went to Home Depot and they helped me and had me on my way in 15 minutes. Employees at Lowe's at bitter lake don't know what they're doing.

Today, I was reminded why as a pro contractor, I prefer Home Depot over Lowes. Due to my saw breaking on a job site, i found myself in need of a 10” dual bevel sliding miter saw, 10 min from North seattle branch. I ran there to buy their Skil miter saw for $229. they were out, i offered to buy their display full price, which the floor supervisor declined. I asked if they were able to sell me their Kobalt 10” dual bevel ($299) for the same price as the Skil, which out have been $80 discount. Without giving it any thought the supervisor said no. I have been in these situations before at Homedepot and their management was easily able to take between $50 to $100 off to accommodate a pro. extremely dissatisfied in their flexibility. Ended up just driving down the street to Home Depot and buying a Ryobi saw. I appreciate your flexibility Lowe’s. Maybe you should work on that if you want to attract pros instead of homeowners.

Machele at Lowe’s delivered the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in a home improvement store. From the moment I walked in, she took ownership of my project and treated it like it mattered. She didn’t just point me toward aisles. She walked me through options, helped me choose the right materials, and made sure I understood what would actually work for what I was building. She anticipated needs I hadn’t even thought of yet and saved me from making a few costly mistakes. When it came time to check out, she stayed with me and made the whole process smooth and fast. No handoffs, no confusion. Just end-to-end help that felt personal and professional. I’ve shopped at plenty of home improvement warehouses over the years and usually expect to fend for myself. This was the first time I’ve ever felt true VIP treatment in one. Machele went above and beyond, and Lowe’s is lucky to have someone who cares that much about customers and their projects.

I bought a washer/dryer from this Lowe’s but the unit didn’t work. The installer told me that my panel didn’t have the capacity for the dryer. After initiating a return, I reached out to my electrician, who came by and determined that the Installer had put the cord in wrong. I’m now out of pocket for the electrician’s bill. I’d buy your appliances elsewhere- it’s not worth the hassle.

Placed my order 2 weeks ago and I get a call the day before my scheduled delivery that the truck is full and will need to reschedule my delivery. Might be reasonable if it was same day or next day delivery. 2 weeks notice there should be no chance my order gets bumped. Maybe don’t even offer that delivery day in the first place? Joke of a service Update: thank you Lowe's for giving me the number to talk to your useless AI! Way to make me hate you even more
