Mark Vogel 6 months agoIf I could give zero stars, I would. We ordered a new washer and dryer and had an absolutely miserable experience from start to finish. Here is a breakdown of why you should avoid this store: • Rude Service: It started with an associate named Dennis. He was angry about having to answer a phone call and took his attitude out on us immediately. • Defective Products: This is hard to believe, but they delivered four defective dryers and two defective washing machines. • Severe Property Damage: Their install team pulled the dryer vent out of my ceiling, disconnected it throughout my building, and damaged the flex hose. • Incompetent "Repairs": Lowe’s sent a team to fix the damage they caused, but they arrived without a ladder or the right tools. They used cheap tape to temporarily stick it back together, leaving the hose and elbow damaged. I was forced to hire a professional company at my own expense—costing me $1,325—to actually fix the vent system. • Dishonesty: After the first few defective units, the manager claimed to offer us a replacement brand "at cost" ($50 off) for our trouble. Those units arrived defective as well. We went to Best Buy and found the exact same models for $50 less than the price this manager claimed was "at cost." We ended up buying from Best Buy, where the installation kit was actual professional quality—unlike the cheap, unused kit Lowe's charged us for. Save yourself the money and the headache and shop elsewhere.
Zuyin Amundson 3 weeks agoVarleen was amazing! She was very welcoming, friendly, and provided excellent customer service. She made me feel valued as a customer and was happy to help with all my questions. Thank you for making my Lowe’s visit such a pleasant experience!
Danser 2 months agoLook Lowes people, if you say you are going to provide a service, if that is one of your sales points, then you should provide the service. If you cannot or if you err, you should make rectification easy for the customer. We call that "Customer Service." This has been absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with respect to a delivery service and unsnarling the egregious error committed by their delivery service. I ordered 6 bags of mulch and a large bag of fertilizer. They were reported to have been delivered. In their place I found on my porch a single paper bag (I knew, just knew something was off) which contained about 12 cans of some kind of energy drink. I then spent close to ONE HOUR on the computer "chatting" with a very nice (I guess) agent. The outcome was they they will refund the purchase price in the next 24-48 hours after dispatching a driver to recover and confirm that the product I received was not, indeed, six bags of mulch at which time they would authorize the release of my funds for a return. Now I will have to go to Home Depot to make the same purchase. I should have gone there first, I know, but I was trying to not cater to the devil himself... oh well, the rot sinks deep. When I tried to make a copy of the transcript of my conversation, as I had been directed I could do, the "make a copy of the transcript" button was unresponsive, for about 5 tries, after which, as they wished, I gave up. Generally, I feel a bit dirty and abused after this interaction... and I haven't even been playing in the dirt. I will add that during this time that I was typing with the agent on the computer, I was on hold with another agent who never did get back to me, and the hold music really stinks. I am going to wait until my refund has come thru before cancelling my account with Lowes and turning my attention to Home Depot for future orders. Sorry about that, but I can't waste my time with amateurs. I mentioned in the survey, and say again, they should fire that driver and his/her service team.
Ron Windsor 2 months agoAs a Pro member, I expect a certain level of service — especially at the Pro Desk, which is supposed to cater specifically to contractors and tradespeople who bring consistent, high-volume business. Unfortunately, my last visit was a reminder that one bad employee can completely unravel a customer relationship that took years to build. The cashier at the Pro Desk was flat-out rude. No greeting, no acknowledgment, and an attitude that made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. I've been a Pro member and spent a significant amount of money at Lowe's over the years — and this is how that loyalty was repaid. In today's competitive retail environment, customer-facing employees are the face of the brand. They are often the single deciding factor in whether a customer walks out feeling good — or walks out and never comes back. This employee clearly missed that memo. I'm reluctant to return to this location, and frankly, Home Depot is now looking a lot more appealing. What Lowe's doesn't seem to realize is that losing a Pro member isn't just losing one transaction. It's losing thousands of dollars in future purchases, referrals, and repeat business. One employee's poor attitude carries a price tag that corporate should take very seriously. To Lowe's leadership: invest in your people. Train them. Hold them accountable. Because right now, one bad interaction is driving your loyal Pro customers straight to your competition.
Bill Cahill 3 months agoWanted to get mulch on sale. Salesperson said he had no one to load. Told him, At 78 I thought i could still load, not realizing that meant not getting off the parking lot but from the rear of garden center, pushing 10 bags onto parking lot and loading in my truck. Worst of all, 2 workers with lowes vest on passed me loading and kept going. I went inside to make a complaint, person at desk said would get a manager. No one answered the phone. How terrible to treat people like this.
