I had a very frustrating experience at this Lowe’s pickup location. I arrived to pick up an order of 144 concrete retaining wall blocks, which were already stacked on a pallet and clearly ready to be loaded with a forklift. When I politely asked for assistance loading the pallet into my truck, the employee who identified herself as the manager refused and told me I had to load everything by hand. This made no sense given that the materials were already palletized and could have been loaded safely in seconds using a forklift. What made the situation worse was her attitude. At one point, she told me, “Are you going to take it or not?” in a dismissive and unprofessional tone, instead of trying to help or offer a solution. When I asked to speak with a manager, she claimed she was the manager, yet showed no willingness to assist. Only after insisting and speaking with another employee was I finally able to get help. I work in construction, and situations like this should be handled efficiently and safely. Expecting someone to hand-load over 1,100 lbs of material when proper equipment is available is unreasonable. Management should review how this location handles third-party pickups and customer service. This experience was disappointing and unnecessarily difficult.

I want to thank Lowes, but especially Pedro. This guy is great. A year ago I had the flooring replaced in my house, and he recommended the type and quantity I needed. It took him about an hour to help me. When he was helping me, I thought he was the manager because I saw him walk by with such a friendly attitude. I said to myself, "This guy has to be the manager here." I don't know if he is, but if he isn't, he should be, or at least be a deputy manager. That's why, when I decided to do my landscaping project, I didn't hesitate to go back to Estes and ask for Pedro. But the day I came back, he wasn't there, and the truth is, the person who helped me had a horrible attitude. So I told him, "You know what? I'll come back another day." I called and asked, and when I came back, I made sure he was in the store. This time, he outdid himself. Because I hired some guys to do the job, and they weren't professional and didn't know how much stone I needed. How much grass, but Peter practically gave me all the advice of a professional and thanks to him, look at my garden, it's beautiful. Honestly, if there was a way to give Pedro 100 stars, I would give them to him. Thank you, Pedro, for your help and you for your patience with the many calls I made to you and for always answering me so kindly.

Of the big box, hardware and home supply stores, Lowe’s is my favorite. There’s not a ton of difference between Home Depot and Lowe’s, but I like the way Lowes lays their store out better than Home Depot, and I think they’re return policy is a little better. Last time I checked, they will price match between them so if there’s something cheaper at Home Depot and you want to buy it at Lowe’s, Just have them price match it. One really nice thing about Lowe’s is that in the garden section, if there are bags of soil or mulch that have been torn open, and some of the contents have been lost, they have rolls of big clear plastic bags that you can put the torn bags into, and then they charge half price for those.

I completely don't understand why they are selling rust and dirty steel t-post for full price. Storage can be better. And this is common for all lowes shops.

Pat at customer service / Returns was absolutely amazing! Where other employees simply said no I can't return an evaporative cooler that I attempted to use for a class I teach (it was just too loud so couldn't use it and exceeded the 48 hours return policy) , she went above and beyond to help this old veteran out and got Mike the manager to assist (also thank you, Mike). She was able to make it happen and get a refund... That really helped out our small business. As she said "I like to put myself into my customers shoes and do my best to help." Pure gold! Thank you, Pat!
