We've always had good customer service here at the Juan Tabo site, however today was the not very good. We and three other customers waited 30 to 45 minutes to get the tools unlocked. Tony, very nice employee paged the manager for this area and no one showed up, then Tony tried to get the combination for the locked tools, and we waited. Finally, Tony never gave up, he got all of us taken care of. We all spent a nice hunk of money, for the tools we wanted and left happy. Hummm! Where the manager was, is a mystery. See you soon. We have been struggling this last year with this location. We try to stay loyal to a store where we hold a credit card and use it year-round, but I think we will have to take the time to drive even further than our usual 40 minute commute just to get to a different location. We buy pellets here to heat our house every year (on top of all other gardening and home improvement projects). This location has employees who aren't on the same page regarding customer service policies. The forklift operators do their best even though it takes close to an hour to get a pallet in our trailer. This last visit the propane ran out, the battery died and the forks damaged a few $7 bags of pellets. In the past we have have had great service getting these damaged bags replaced but this time customer service employees including Kyle and Karen weren't sympathetic in the least. Judy, head cashier, kept saying she'd talk to her boss but didn't take our information and nobody in the department would bring Min (nice manager) to our aid. Excuses upon excuses. Fed up with the nasty attitudes of customer service as well as very long wait times from the overloaded forklift operators... we will take our business elsewhere.

DO NOT SHOP AT LOWES!!! AND DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION SPECIFICALLY!!! I bought a shower set and they sent me the wrong pan in the correct box. We only figured it out when we tried to install the shower. I sent for a replacement and when it came in for pick up a rude woman at the return counter told me I had to drive the entire way across town to return it even though my replacement was at their store. The assistant general manager claimed there was no way to help me and I had to drive to the opposite side of town if I wanted a refund. They will NOT treat you as a human being. They will NOT accept responsibility for their company. They will NOT care. If they mess up, they WILL BLAME YOU! DO NOT SHOP HERE! DO NOT SHOP AT LOWES!

I went in to buy lumber for a project, and shopping was easy overall. The nearby associates were helpful, and I had no trouble finding what I needed. Unfortunately, the checkout experience was very disappointing. The cashier spent time complaining to the customer ahead of us about other associates and managers not being available to help, which felt unprofessional. When it was our turn, he asked three separate times if we were military and for our phone number, yet neither discount was applied. He never mentioned there was an issue processing it. On top of that, he only bagged half of our items, and I had to ask for a bag for the rest. Lowe’s, your floor staff did well, but the checkout experience needs serious improvement. Do better.

Regarding a refrigerator purchase from the Lowe’s store 1543 this past weekend. On Friday, while in the middle of a household move, we visited Lowe’s and selected a refrigerator. A store employee (who was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable - our issue is not with him) confirmed that the unit would be available for pickup the next day. Based on that information, we opened a line of credit, proceeded with the purchase and made immediate logistical decisions to accommodate pickup. On Saturday, we sold our working refrigerator to make space, rented a trailer, and drove to the store to pick up the refrigerator—only to be told that it was not actually available for pickup. We were assured that we would be contacted with a delivery plan today. After speaking with the delivery representative, we still have no clear timeline for when the refrigerator will be delivered. As a result, we are currently without a refrigerator, have lost food, incurred unnecessary expenses (including trailer rental, hitch purchase and fuel), and added significant stress to an already difficult move—all based on information provided by Lowe’s staff that turned out to be incorrect.
