Adriana Boley 3 months agoThis lowes always has what I need and if not they can tell me where to purchase at different locations... thanks again Evan for pointing out the wheels I needed to make my "Canvas Cart"! I now have a neat rolling rack specially made for the canvas sizes I use- plus I didn't have to buy something cheap online and could be proud of a small project instead. What a wonderful and helpful team this lowes has! My only issue is plants- mainly the orchids. Anytime I want to buy a "nursery" sized one all the leaves are brown and dead. Bought a few that had crown rot which wasn't fun, but I do have more luck rescuing their "clearance" orchids.
Scott 5 months agoMy experience with Lowe's customer service was among the worst I've encountered with any major retailer, making it clear how disappointing their service was from the start. I hired Lowe's to replace damaged flooring after a washing machine overflowed. I paid in full upfront, assuming (like any reasonable customer would) that the company handling the job would remove the damaged flooring, prep the surface, and install new tile. After waiting over 10 days, the installer finally showed up — only to tell me for the first time that he couldn't prep the floor for tile. This lack of clear communication made me feel uncertain about their professionalism, leaving me with an unusable space and no clear next steps. No one from Lowe's or the contractor followed up. I had to chase them down with multiple calls and texts over several days, and every person gave me a different story: I needed a plumber. No, I required Hardie board. No, I needed to hire my own contractor. None of this was communicated before they took my $1,611.80. Lowe's completely failed to manage or coordinate this project, leaving me stuck with a half-finished job and surprise out-of-pocket costs. The total lack of transparency, accountability, and communication was deeply frustrating and disappointing, making me feel ignored and undervalued as a customer. Avoid Lowe's installation services at all costs. If they can't deliver on basic project management and follow through, it raises serious questions about their reliability and whether they are fit to handle home improvement projects. Jay Payton 3 months agoI too had a similar situation as Trevor Matejowsky. I purchased a Water Heater on Sunday, March 22 and had everyting set up in store by Miguel (who was very kind, patient and helpful). I received 8 texts/emails stating the Water Heater would be delivered on Monday, March 23 between the hours of 9am to 9pm. I called in at work in order to be there when they arrive. I waited all day and even called Lowe's to find out where the Water Heater was and when it would be delivered. I continued receiving the same text messages stating it was on the way and scheduled for delivery. At 2pm the installation companyfrom ARS Rescue Rooter arrived and I told him the product had not been delivered. He rescheduled the installation for the next day with a window of 12-4pm. I finally made the last call to Lowes's at 8pm on Monday, March 23 at 8:15pm and spoke to Myra who informed me that my Water Heater was not on the truck to be delivered and they don't deliver that late. ???? The AI system also kept telling me the same messages as the texts that the Water Heater was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, March 23 between the hours of 9am to 9pm. ???? As of Tuesday, March 24 I still have no Water Heater. The installation crew is scheduled to arrive Tuesda, March 24 at 12pm to 4pm. Perhaps when they get here and have no product to install they can assist in getting the correct information and proper customer service.
T V 2 months agoI had an online order which arrived via Same-day delivery -with missing items. I was told Same-day delivery uses a service like Uber? I used the MyLow in the app and the 1-800 Customer Care number multiple times for a week to get help. Each time getting sent to someone else or being told that I'd get a call within 24 hours which I didn't so I had to restart the process over and over again. Each time the person would tell me they'd make a note, escalate the issue via email again, and someone would call me. Eventually I was told to call this local Lowe's to which I spoke to the Manager who then said he would put it in for redelivery for the next day- did not happen. Someone else did call me surprisingly, Steven, just to check on my case and when I told him about the redelivery that did not happen, he discovered that the Manager noted it was to go on a Flatbed truck? Which would not make sense for just a few bags of soil and probably why it did not go through. He said he fixed it to go into a box truck which is more appropriate for my small amount of stuff, which would arrive in two days (bc this truck does not make Wednesday deliveries). This redelivery ALSO never happened. So I called Lowe's again and kept getting sent to Managers that I would have to repeat my case to only to be told that they'd have to send me to a Manager...? Finally, I got Natasha who let me know that I'd have to receive a refund rather than a redelivery bc of the delivery service that has been tending to steal items they're delivering and that it was a whole process to deal with. I said I'd actually prefer that at this point because I've been trying to get it settled for a week straight and keep getting sent from person to person. She said she'd have to put it in and then call me back by the next morning if the refund was able to go through. Only minutes later, she called and the refund was already sent...I'm so grateful that she actually did something that probably 10 different people could not do for me for a week straight including people via the App - MyLow, the 1-800 Customer Care #, and this actual Local Lowe's. Thank you Natasha! ♥️ Because of this, I know not to do any online orders delivered from Lowe's and especially using Same-Day delivery services. If they keep stealing when delivering, why even use their service anymore? It's such a headache! This is the 2nd Local Lowe's to have issues with regarding online orders and items being stolen that I've dealt with this month alone.
