I bought a Kobalt drill last September 2025. It slowly started failing until it just completely stopped working. Just normal use, tool was in no way abused. Since it was past 90 day return policy I had to call the Kobalt number to see about getting it fixed under the regular warranty. They were very helpful, just asked for verification, receipt number, model of the drill and what was wrong with it. After explaining what was wrong, he issued me a return number and said to take it back to the store with the number he provided to have it exchanged. Was on the phone for less than 5 minutes, outstanding customer service. I went to the return desk and Elizabeth greeted me and I explained the situation and what the gentleman on the phone told me to do. She was unfamiliar with this type of return and instead of giving me excuses and such like others have in the past at different stores, she worked through it to figure out how to get my drill replaced. She called fellow associates and a manager over to help. They were also quick to respond and help Elizabeth and myself with this return. In the end, I got the drill replaced with absolutely no hassle whatsoever. Was in the store no more than 10 minutes. I really cant say enough great things about the staff at Eastchase Lowes,TX and especially about Elizabeth. Her dedication to her job, fellow employees, and customers as a whole is an outstanding reflection upon Lowe's and most importantly her character as a person. Thank you Elizabeth for showing me and others who I hope take the time to read this, that the customer service of the past is still alive and well at Lowe's! It's caring and understanding individuals like yourself that make the world a better place.

We went in to Lowes for an estimate for Laminate countertops. They gave we an in store estimate and I was happy with that and put a down payment on them. The counter top company, Irving Countertops came to my house to verify measurements. When i checked my email later the price went up $460.00 plus dollars. I checked the details of that "change order". There was stuff in it I did not ask for. It was a bait and switch. Be real careful when dealing with a situation like this. They also claimed the initial measurements I provided to Lowes were wrong. Well my measurements, and overall square footage was exact. They returned all but $120.00 of my money. To say the least, I am extremely dissapointed in Lowes and their contractor, Irving Countertops.

I had went here 3x trying to getting the right dryer duct for my dryer, and when I went to return it I meet Ms. Tina she was so helpful she called another associate to meet to help me find the right part. I went down the aisle to be met by 2 Amazing Veterans Gentlemen Mr. Spencer, and Mr. Don which were very helpful with great formative information concerning dryers. I told them thanks for both of the services, and Mr. Don't informed me he was 88 year's old he still working with a positive attitude.

My brother and I Went to look for a stove for our mother. Ricky Rodgers- sales specialist, the gentlemen that works at the appliance section, was very nice and helped us look into what we were looking for. Only downfall is that Lowes does not offer, pick up during the week when is beneficial for customers.

Lowe’s has changed their policy of no returns/exchanges, even if it’s their own brand, without a receipt. Sometimes their system tracks it well and sometimes not, so make sure to scan your receipts as they fade quickly, so taking extra steps to protect yourself is needed. Better yet, we’re done with Lowe’s after all these years. Wish I’d have known this before we spent a ridiculous amount of money remodeling our house & building another!
