I purchased a lawn mower here that turned out to be an absolute dud. It had metal in the oil after the first use and the engine gave up the ghost after mowing twice, so about 2 total hours run time. The reason this is a five star review is that the Lowe's team was so helpful! Not only was my original associate with us the entire time, but at one point we had four people working together to make things right. They had all the paperwork done and the replacement mower ready to go in less than an hour. I am a little hesitant to recommend this mower to my friends at the moment, but I would absolutely recommend Lowe's! Thank you, and I will be back!

Lowe's hardware store is the best!! We needed a new lawnmower .. so for political reasons... (I'm boycotting Menard's, Home Depot, Walmart, Target, Amazon..) we went to Lowe's even if the others had cheaper prices. Anyway, we bought a battery powered Ego.. and unfortunately it turned out to be defective machine. So we took it back today... I went cause I'm better at arguing.. which is what i expected I'd have to do. To our great surprise... and with the help of J. R., Lowe's employee .. got an exchange with absolutely no problem and a smile... and said if this doesn't work bring it back.. I'm totally impressed with Lowes!!

Absolute horrible store incapable of assisting older folks with buying plants in the garden department. There were about six to ten employees walking around, having conversations with others, and unable to recognize a person standing in front of them. If your thing is to be ignored as a customer then Lowe’s in Shakopee Mn is your kind of place. I needed assistance with plants and basically had to go in spaces where o ly employees are allowed to enter to interrupt and seek help. I asked for an associate of the business to help me find a certain kind of plant due to limited sight on my part. I was informed she had two associates on break and she was not sure if that was a lunch break or other. I was asked to sit in the outdoor furniture section and someone would be there shortly to assist me.. she speared to be incompetent to do as she promised because 9 associates passed by me in twenty minutes utes and mo one offered to help! So I am unable to see properly and sought assistance but no assistance ever came my way. I guess the two that were on an extended breaks stayed on break so I left for the competitors establishment with a hope I would be a valued customer where assistance would be provided for a senior citizen with special needs’ never ever will I snipe here again. Age discrimination and non handicapped appliance! Beware of a store that is too busy to help with the needs of customers even though there appeared to be overstaffed to the point where employees were everywhere but no one could take the time to help!

Well stocked, clean, plenty of staff most very friendly and helpful. Only one observed to be a problem. This unnamed staff thinks it is more important to stock shelves in bathroom fixtures than assist customers (could have at least giving directions to the product the elderly lady was looking for, but no. I assisted her since it was beneath him.) Overall great shopping experience.

Service from the customer service woman at the front was great! The lady at the self checkout on the other hand was not great. I grabbed some house numbers and a two pack of deck lights to light up those numbers. The light rang up $16.48. well the display had the same lights (in a normal person's point of view) for $4.02. she responds with "If I scan them they are just going to scan at that other price($16.48)". I walk away from the point of sale at that time. Steve then came over and scanned said product. He said the clearance ones were out of stock. Ok, but why continue to have the clearance sticker out with the new stock beneath it? He said he would go check. I then proceed to wait 10+ minutes with no response. I took out the lights from the box and looked at them side by side. The first woman from customer service then went past me and was kind and positive again. She is the reason there are two stars in this review. Otherwise I will be going out of my way to go to Menards or home Depot from this point on.
