The staffs at the Paint department are the most helpful and knowledgeable! 2 years ago, I needed to paint my home but I had no idea how to get started so the lady at the counter helped me understand the different paints and went above and beyond when they didn't have a specific 5 gallon I needed. Then come again, 2 years later, another lady helped guide me to figure out the paint for bathrooms because our paint was coming off due to the constant heat and moisture from showers. I'm happy with the service.

Wow! We came in to look at a bathtub/shower combo and had a question. We had just left a competitor’s store without buying anything because they couldn’t answer a question. Not only did Joel answer this question, we were so impressed with Joel and Steve that in 1.5 hours, we left with nearly everything we needed to do a remodel bathroom Job! Joel was incredibly knowledgeable about every detail of the remodel, so he was able to answer all our questions and guide us on getting all of the proper pieces we needed from toilet and tub fittings to electrical. I was blown away (literally) by his expertise in bathroom fans! Who knew all that there was to know?! Steve helped find all the necessary parts quickly and Joel reminded us of a few extras we would have forgotten. Steve ordered the item we wanted online that was out of stock to be delivered to us. Rachael was fast and friendly checking us out and everyone loaded us up in a jiffy! Customer service like this is so hard to come by these days and it is so appreciated! You knocked it out of the park! These staff deserve a raise!

Very helpful staff. I want you to especially mention Joseph who works in the garden center. He certainly goes above and beyond expectations as he was happy to help me load my car with 100 edging bricks.

They were rude and dismissive. None of them knew where the product I was looking for was. They kept passing me off to other cs reps. On the 3rd one, I pulled the product up online, and he found it. There was absolutely no one available in the garden center to answer any questions. The cashier in the garden center was sweet but not knowledgeable. I ended up getting the rest of my garden stuff from Home Depot, which sent me to Lowe's because the one item I needed wasn't there. I won't shop here again!

Purchased an A. O. Smith water heater on 08/22/2025. On 12/11/2025, the unit began leaking after being inspected by CenterPoint Energy Home Service Plus (repair plan) and then by our licensed plumber from Louie & Sons, Inc., the company that originally installed the unit. Both confirmed the water heater is leaking and needs to be replaced. When we attempted to return the unit to the store, we were informed that we had to contact A. O. Smith directly to obtain authorization. After approximately an hour and a half on the phone, we were told they required photos of the unit installed and photos of the leak to determine whether the issue could be repaired. This resulted in nearly two hours wasted between the store and the manufacturer. We were also told the leaking unit would need to be reinstalled to obtain these photos, causing additional unnecessary time and expense. At that point, it was more cost-effective to walk away than to continue the process. Lowe’s did not stand behind the product they sold, and the warranty process was extremely frustrating and impractical. As business owners with multiple companies, we have already significantly reduced our purchases due to ongoing issues, and this experience was the final straw. Buyer beware.
