I had a very disappointing experience during my visit. What stood out most was witnessing an older employee publicly degrade and embarrass a younger colleague rather than offering guidance or support. It was uncomfortable to watch and created an unpleasant atmosphere in the store. Professional concerns should be handled respectfully, especially in front of customers. In addition, the older employee spent much of the time walking around looking angry and unapproachable. Customer service is about creating a welcoming environment, and unfortunately that was not the impression given during my visit. Seeing staff treated poorly and customers met with such a negative attitude left me with a very unfavorable impression of the store. I hope management addresses both the workplace culture and the way employees interact with one another and customers.

It was my first time trying wood working and staining and all of the staff was very helpful in helping me prepare for what I was going to need! Two gentlemen, Tim(?) in Painting and a man in a ball cap, glasses, and a flannel shirt that was near Returns, were both very detailed, kind, and personable! [[this was on Thursday, September 25th, at ~4pm]]

Friendly and helpful employees, they had what I needed whereas the other local Lowe's didn't so this one was my choice for red rubber mulch on sale$5/bag. FYI They keep the garden center gates locked.

I had an great experience with Tim in the paint department yesterday. He was helpful, patient and informative regarding my upcoming project. In a world where good customer service is rare in the face of AI we must stop to appreciate the actual people doing a good job. April

I ordered some mulch five bags from the store on 40 highway in Sterling. They notified me that it was ready. My husband went up to get it and they said they didn’t have an order for that. They said he was at the wrong store. So he drove to the store on blue Valley Parkway. Never been to that store and I had a hard time finding it. When he got there, they told him that they did not have his order that it was at the 40 highway in Sterling Lowe’s store. Customer service was gonna send him back to the other store and he said they said I didn’t have anything so she ended up canceling that order and ordering it from their store and they loaded it in his car. What a screwup.
